Our Mission

I am a life-long resident of Sheridan. I was raised on a farm and graduated from Marion-Adams (Sheridan) High School. I received a Bachelor’s degree from Butler University in 1978. I was baptized in my youth and became a member of the church. While I cherish our historic building, I also value our welcoming members. I enjoy our Sunday worship services with the congregation interaction and the music of our band, The Thursday Night Specials. I have helped with the Pass-It-on Mission project and served on the property committee. I served as a deacon and I am currently a member of the projects team. I serve as vice chair of the executive board. In 2019 I was asked to serve as an elder of Sheridan First Christian Church. After much thought and prayer, I accepted the opportunity join the church’s leaders and serve its congregation. I have two daughters with wonderful families and am blessed with four grandchildren.
