The following are organizations that provide community resources for residents in the town of Sheridan.

Mama’s Cupboard, Inc

Mama’s Cupboard Inc. is a faith-based organization dedicated to providing food and other services to residents in need from the Sheridan area. We help disadvantaged individuals with respect and without prejudice, to preserve the dignity and self-worth of each client.

Good Samaritan Network

The MISSION of Good Samaritan Network is to demonstrate the unconditional love of Christ by serving the physical, financial and emotional needs of the underserved individuals and families in Hamilton County.

Sheridan Public Library

The Sheridan Public Library offers programs for adults and youth, an Indiana Digital Library, and numerous events, workshops and activities for children and adults.

Adams Township

Adams Township is one of nine townships in Hamilton County that is 48.36 square miles. We are in the northwest corner of the county. Adams Township is a political subdivision of a county. We administer township assistance to those in need living within the township boundaries. Maintained the abandon cemeteries in our township. We also provide fire and EMS protection by contracting with the Town of Sheridan.

Sheridan Youth Assistance Program

Sheridan Youth Assistance Program (SYAP) was formed in Spring of 2015 to help strengthen youth and families through community involvement. SYAP works in collaboration with the Sheridan Community School District, Town of Sheridan, and the Hamilton County Superior Court. SYAP is one of six offices serving students and their families in Hamilton County, Indiana.
